OUR RULES

🏌️‍♂️ 1. Booking & Poll Commitment

Priority Play: A weekly or Monthly event will be posted, since some of you are scared of your wives. The first members to respond will receive priority seeding for the event booking. Even Numbers Rule: We aim for groups of 4 or 8 where possible to ensure smooth pairings and cart allocations. Overflow Protocol: If the group is oversubscribed, additional players will be placed on standby and given priority consideration for the following round. Additional players are welcome to make their own booking directly with the club or course in the event of an over-spill; we`ll see you at the bar afterwards. Booking Means Commitment: If your name is on the list, we assume you're joining us. The golf course certainly does.

📅 2. Group Structure & Pairings

Flexible Formats: Depending on confirmed numbers, formats may change. Rotating Pairings: Pairings will be mixed regularly to keep things social and to ensure everyone gets the chance to experience each other's unique interpretation of golf. The general rule remains, first come first serve. Captain's Discretion: Pairings may be adjusted where necessary to balance handicaps, personalities, and levels of emotional damage.

📍 3. Tee Time Coordination

Lead Booker: One poor soul will coordinate bookings and course arrangements. This role may rotate periodically. Booking Deadline: Tee times will generally be finalized by Thursday midday for weekend games, and minimum 2 days before any intermittent games. Respect the Organiser: Booking golf for a large group is harder than sinking a 3-foot putt under pressure. Please respond promptly when polls are posted.

🍻 4. Sunday Meet-Up & Refreshments

Collection Point: Members should arrive at the designated meeting point at least 30 minutes before tee-off. BYOB: Bring your own booze. Sharing is encouraged. Responsible behaviour is mandatory. Stay Hydrated: Water first. Beers second. Triple bogeys happen either way.

✅5. Commitment, Cancellations & Penalties

Stick to Your Spot: Once you've confirmed attendance, you're expected to honour your booking. Cancellation Courtesy: If circumstances change, notify the group immediately so alternative arrangements can be made. Last-Minute Cancellations

If a player cancels after bookings have been finalized and a replacement cannot be found BY THE GOLFER WHO CANCELLED:

The player remains liable for any golf fees that the club or organiser cannot recover. If a golf cart has already been booked, the cancelling player will remain responsible for their share of the cart fees. Your cart partner shouldn't have to pay double because you've suddenly discovered a grumpy spouse, your dogs funeral, a hangover, or a strong emotional attachment to your couch.

No-Shows

If you confirm and simply don't arrive without notice: You will be removed off the group... Should you repent your sins and find Jesus, the group will then vote you back on. Majority rules You may be required to settle any costs incurred on your behalf. Most importantly, you will be subjected to relentless and fully justified group banter.

This remains a social golf group, and is not affiliated with any courses yet, that`s why membership remains free. We want to up our game, both on the course and off, by keeping this group fun but organised.
